“To be a better business enabler, lawyers should not use legal terms as a badge of honor when talking to clients,” says Justin. To that end, in-house counsel should strive to “be viewed as a true counselor and advisor, not just the commercial lawyer or the employment lawyer.” Justin and his law department colleagues have made progress on their mission to work with their business partners, especially the global sales team at Anixter.
